BORGO IN GIOCO - Sarnano MC
23th September 2018
Borgo in Gioco
Sarnano MC
Borgo in Gioco returns in the wonderful medieval old town of Sarnano: the manifestation of the re-enactment of the ancient popular games.
The visitor will be immersed in an atmosphere of other times where the street games will be protagonists: pignatta mud, the tumbling, the marbles, target shooting, the game of the bell will be just some of the many games that will involve children and adults!
The recovery of traditional games represents the rediscovery of own history, own origins and the sense of belonging to own territory.
THE FIRST WORLD WAR IN THE EUROPEAN CARTOGRAPHY - Tolmin SLOVENIA
August 31th - October 12th 2018
The First World War in the European cartography
Tolmin - Slovenia
An exhibition of ancient European cartography using satirical comics designed between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. A valuable collection of maps that humorously describe the tensions between the various European countries at the sunrise of the conflict.
It’s an opportunity to analyze an important historical period through documents that crystallize national stereotypes and tell social developments of the time not only in politics, but in new artistic styles and communication.
